Red, White & Blue Salad

Wow! We got over 14 inches of rain last weekend and boy did our little lettuce garden sure take off!

I keep a small raised garden bed on the porch right off our kitchen. It's great to have fresh lettuce in the spring and herbs in the summer right by me while I'm cooking.

Here's a recipe for a perfect summer salad!

• 2 cups mixed salad greens

• 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

• 2 tablespoons candied walnuts

• 1/2 strawberries, sliced

• 1/2 cup blueberries

• vinaigrette dressig

• Pile the feta and walnuts in the middle of the greens. Top with strawberries and blueberries. Pour dressing over salad when ready to eat. Enjoy!
